I go by the online name of Hikari, although in real life I'm called Aana (along with a host of other random nicknames including "Banana" and "Hika-chan"). A bit shy and introverted, although slightly narcissistic, I can be boring as well as fun. That's because I'm moody, and although I'm usually quite hyper and talkative, I do have my morbid moods. I'm not really different online either, being quite reserved, although I do have my perks here - hail fangirling! XDD

My romance with the internet started about 5 years ago, in the beginning of 2001-2 when I was at the peak of my CCS fangirling. I absolutely loved that series and the internet was like a temple for this worshipper XDD; I got into innumerable anime/manga and even started liking j-pop. Basically, I got quite interested in the japanese culture. I was just a lurker though, and it wasn't until a few years later that I saw all these beautiful graphic design sites, and naturally I wanted to have one too. Of course I was pathetic, not knowing a drop of HTML/designing, but I learned gradually with the help of my dear friends and Paintshop Pro. I opened up a host of sites, even got myself a domain and a web design site, but as the days passed, I realized that I was too lazy to manage so many sites, and web designing wasn't really my forte. So I closed down my domain (or technically, it was suspended), and found new hosts for the sites that I wanted to keep. This included Shining Light, my 1-year-old blog, which was hosted on Karenai by the awesome Monica =3

If you've been here often enough, you know I'm teh-rabid-fangirl. Yes, I'm into anime and manga (my fandoms change with time; but right now it's Shinshi Doumei Cross, Nagatachou Strawberry, Black Cat and Kamichu!), j-doramas (currently none) and j-pop (NewS will always be ♥ Followed by most of JE, YUI, AAA, mihimaru GT and- you get the idea). I like to ship OTPs too (Tego + Massu = LOVE) and well...just ship in general. ~~AND YES, JOHNNY'S ENTERTAINMENT HAS TAKEN MY SOUL >O~~

My passions include writing fanfiction, listening to music (and sharing it too!), web-designing and reading.
